Taman Nusa is an Indonesian cultural park that aims to offer
comprehensive information on the cultures of Indonesia’s various ethnic
groups. It is an open air museum in Bali. In the cultural village, visitors are given the opportunity to
experience the modest village life of the diverse and distinct ethnicity
from all over Indonesia and see various crafts and performing arts. The park is filled with enclosed and open-air displays,
comprising a collection of 60 authentic traditional houses in their
recreated compound settings, together with a variety of exhibits from
islands across the Indonesian archipelago. You can explore Indonesia through the ages, from Bronze Age to Kingdom era
as depicted by an impressive scaled down replica of Borobudur Temple.
Taman Nusa has a library and two museums that showcase the various
cultural heritage and legacy of the nation such as wayang, batik,
weaving and embroidery.
