It is located in Pererenan Bali, Indonesia. It is only a 5 minutes walk from Pantal Echobeach.
Some of the horses were transfers from the
once popular and pioneering Umalas Stables which recently closed its
doors after 16 years of operation. The stable features a wide range of
mounts, including local ponies, thoroughbreds, Arabians, Lipizzaner and
French crosses, some of which are imported.
They are currently have 16 horses, six of which are privately-owned. The stables
offers a variety of services and facilities, including private stabling,
horse training, lessons, beach and rice field tours, wedding services,
special children horse camps and miscellaneous courses.
Various tours and packages offered at the stables include pony rides,
‘bendy’ and ‘dokar’ (traditional horse cart) tours, and a children camp
fit for the little ones to have fun and learn how to take care of a
horse and how to ride ponies with safe European-standard equipment. Each
child has his own guide and is trained by a professional instructor.
Tours start by traversing a Balinese village. After riding along a road between green rice fields, riders soon reach
the sands of Pererenan and continue on to trot or canter to the beaches
of Kuta or simply remain in the area to enjoy the immediate coastline.
The horses can ride into the water, and make for a memorable splashing
photo opportunity.
The pony rides are a great opportunity for the little ones to get to
know horses. Children under five years of age can gain their first
riding experience on the friendly ponies on a 10-minute ride. The
dedicated children’s camp enables children to be dropped in the morning
and picked up after lunch for an equestrian education-filled half day
out with the horses.
